I heard about this book from a friend. I decided to check it out on Kindle for Android and I am glad I did.I was in the process of reading a book from a different author about vampires and werewolves, but once I got hooked on Gardee's and Star's missions I put the other book down so I could finish this one. Now I wish there was a sequel to "Children of Secrecy" available for download so I could go on to the next book!
I really enjoyed the space combat and the descriptions of the secret missions upon which the lead characters embarked. I also enjoyed the author's perspectives on the various situations in which the children found themselves.
If you have any doubts about buying this book, rest assured that it is a fun, readable space adventure that will leave you satisfied!

I bought the book version two weeks ago and have already read it twice! The author has written a great adventure for both girls and boys. There are few authors that surprise me. Pete Adams is one of those authors. The story is riveting. I simply could not put it down!
Not knowing what to expect when I picked up this book, by the first few sentences, I was engaged. This was more than the normal, over-written adventures I had come across before. This book is innovative in its introduction of characters and story that then bridges into an elabrate inerplay of dynamic characters and scenarios.
Highly recommended for those who are brave for this exceptional literary experience
Children of Secrecy was a great read. The adventures of Gardee and Star are very exciting - I wish I had a ship like they had! Pete Adams has created a world that is crying out for sequels.. Well worth it!
This is the first sci-fi I have read or watched, that focussed on strong yet feminine females hero's. I an adult, got caught up in the excitement of battle. I even cried with the main characters through loss and giggled when they giggled. I had fun with this book.
